Le Sacre du Printemps – The Rite of Spring

A hybrid performance by Niko Rupllem and Super G, where physicality meets digital imagery. Body and image merge to create a new bio-digital entity that performs the rituals of Spring’s arrival.

In a post-feminist landscape, patriarchal oppression is deconstructed, and queer identity demands visibility.
Inspired by Pina Bausch’s iconic The Rite of Spring and Stravinsky’s music, the performance explores the dialogue between the natural and the digital, the biological and the artificial. By deconstructing gender binaries, the digital queer identity is embodied, translated into movement, and reconnects with the physical world.
